You're probably missing the bios. Famicom Disk system emulation needs the bios file to be located on your system folder. I think the bios is named disksys.rom, you can search on google and place it on your Retroarch's system folder.

I recently installed retroarch onto my fat ps3 and my psvita, and every 8 bit to 32 bit system runs flawlessly, except for famicom disk system. Which is strange because I downloaded disksys.rom for the system, and it works on the psvita flawlessly, but not on the ps3, has anyone else had this happen to them?
