Hanakapi'ai is a gorgeous and remote sandy beach surrounded by majestic sea cliffs. Unfortunately, it is not a swim-friendly beach. Visitors should expect a 3 to 4-hour round-trip hike up, down, and around the sea cliffs of Na Pali when making a day trip to the beach via the Kalalau Trail.
